What is Phi Eta Sigma?

Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society that encourages and rewards academic excellence among freshmen and UNM first-year students of all disciplines in institutions of higher learning, promotes campus and community service, and provides national leadership opportunities.

Mission Statement

We will achieve generosity through community service and collaboration with other UNM student organizations, determination of academic excellence through recognition of scholastic success, and cultivating relationships by providing members opportunities to develop supportive social groups.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Phi Eta Sigma UNM chapter is to become well-rounded students through developing generosity of character, maintaining determination of high academic excellence, and cultivating healthy social relationships.
